I think anyone is capable of changing. As long as you're willing to be open and honest with yourself. For example, my stepmother spent a decade trying to murder me, but I never stopped believing in her and the good things I knew she was capable of. Now we're as close as family can be. If I can get her through that, then surely I can help you.
It's a very...long and complicated story. One I won't bore you with but the important part is that she changed, eventually. Anyone can. Even the worst people. And I hardly think you're the worst kind of person.
